Multimedia Signal Processing Group
The Multimedia Signal Processing Group of the Lisbon site of Instituto de Telecomunicações,
located in the Instituto Superior Técnico campus, has the
objective of developing technology especially in the areas of visual
information analysis, representation, and quality of experience evaluation.
Application areas include, among others, 3D video, visual sensor networks,
social media and biometrics.
One of the major targets of the Multimedia Signal Processing Group is to
participate in national and international research and development projects.
The Multimedia Signal Processing Group continuously tries to find the best
balance between academic, project and standardization activities.
